‘Svelte’ but powerful design.

Currently asking the XGenStudios Forums for advice in looking for a new laptop is Doh who, after deciding his current laptop is rubbish, has decided that a new, better one should be on the horizon!

Doh has decided he needs about 100-120 GB of space, maybe 2 GB of RAM and perhaps Core 2 Duo. He isn’t into gaming so doesn’t need a particularly high-quality graphics card or a huge screen. So far, chejrw has suggested the highly-regarded Toshiba Satellite series and waggles has recommended the Toshiba Portege range.

With these recommendations in mind and a great recent review on the Li-ion Knowledge Information blog spot, the Portege M200 may be just what Doh is looking for. Whilst describing the M200’s ’successful combination of notebook performance and tablet functionality’ which makes it ‘one of the best on the market’, the review also trials all its notable features and rates the laptop as ‘definitely worth checking out‘. A good battery life, masses of memory and Wi-Fi as well as a display that make the M200 a ‘pleasure to use’ combine to make the M200 a good choice. The fact that these features are all wrapped up in a ’svelte’ design, make the M200 ‘an all round great buy’.
