Hockey fanatic, writer and nanoscientist extraordinaire BadgerAlum@WMU is in need of a new laptop to keep his varied activities in order so he’s asked for some advice from the USCHO.com Fan forum.

He’s not a heavy gamer so only needs a good office suite, the ability to download new programmes to collect science data and WiFi. Size is also an issue, a notebook that’s lightweight and thin but that doesn’t compromise on screen size would be perfect. Fellow forum member Un_Poco_Lento has suggested Toshiba, pointing out that they ‘make great machines, at least in recent years’!

One Toshiba laptop that ‘offers so much’ according to review site Cheap laptops is the Satellite A200. Offering impressive features such as Vista, 2GB RAM, a 15″ widescreen screen and Wi-Fi all in a lightweight package, the review concludes that the A200 gives you ’so much for your money’!
