Elusive gem discovered!

sailor720 is currently looking for that elusive gem known as a cheap but good quality ‘mainstream laptop’ and so to help him on his mission he has enlisted the aid of the Notebook Forum guys.

Being particularly creative, sailor720 wants something he can mainly use for music and basic adobe programmes, though it needs to have capacity for fast web surfing and office work too. Not being a big gamer, nor needing the device to be too mobile, size and extreme graphics cards aren’t a huge issue. Though he would like a 15″ screen and something with Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

If its the perfect desktop relacment he’s after, then review blog Handsets - helping people multitask suggest the Satellite P100 as the way forward. In a recent article, which provides in-depth feature reviews of the P100 under specific headings to make clear reading, Martin Timan talks about the P100’s streamline looks, high speed, cool running and comfortable feel. The specifications are more than capable of catering for general use and media programmes such as photoshop with precision, showing that the search for that affordable laptop is not an impossible mission.
