A130 gains a place as one of the ‘Best laptops of 2007′

Student Pheonix has put out an appeal on his WordPress blog for any information about what laptop he should buy for his next few years of study.

As he uses programmes like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint most of the time for school work, he really wants something simple that runs those programmes, but every hard worker needs a break so he is also after something that can sustain games such as Diablo and World of Warcraft.

Looking at the selection of ‘Best laptops of 2007′ on the Laptop Notebook blog spot, the Toshiba Satellite A130 not only features highly but seems to offer everything Pheonix would need with Core 2 Duo processor, Vista, a 15″ display and lightweight design for easy portability into college as well as all the features needed to run homework and games programmes all at a low price, this is one for students to check out.

A130 authors choice?

Along with petrified’s sudden urge to write books has come the need to get a new laptop to write them on! So, not being entirely computer literate he has asked members of The Guns Network LLC forums for their advice on his perfect laptop.

All petrified needs is a simple to use laptop that he can easily take around to write his books on and something with wireless, so nothing too fancy and hi-tech.

Self-confessed ‘Toshiba loyalist’ tripinva has writen an extensive review of the Satellite A130 on the surfcomputer blog spot which petrified could benefit from reading. tripinva recommends the A130 to anyone who isn’t looking for a heavy duty laptop for heavy tasks.

Supplying users with 1GB of RAM, a 15″ Tru-Brite screen, Intel Core Duo T2080 and wireless, it certainly contains everything a budding author could want. The review outlines all the features, going into detail about his experiences of the ’specs, and shows benchmark results so readers know exactly what they’re getting.
