Das heißt, “es erfüllt alle Aufgaben im angepeilten Einsatzgebiet ohne Murren und bietet jederzeit ausreichend Leistung“, bietet aber daneben kaum Spielereien und technische Innovationen.Was ja auch nicht immer was schlechtes sein muss, denn bei diesem Gerät scheint alles ohne Probleme zulaufen. Da ist sich Toshiba sogar so sicher, dass sie eine sogenannte Doppelgarantie geben. Das heißt, dass es bei einem berechtigten Reparaturfall das Notebook in Ordnung gebracht wird und außerdem gibt es gleich noch den gesamten Kaufpreis erstattet. Das klingt doch mal nicht schlecht, oder?

Auch bei den Kommentaren kommt das A9 ziemlich gut weg und wird als “Langzeit Arbeitsnotebook” weiter empfohlen.

Jim78 aus dem notebookjournal-Forum hat folgendes Problem, Zitat:

“…Habe ein Tecra A9 bei dem ich keinen Monitortreiber finden kann weder auf der Homepage von Toshiba noch sonst irgendwo. Aufgefallen ist mir das erst nach der Installation der mitgelieferten Recovery CD, wo dann immer noch im Geräte Manager drei Standardmonitore und zwei Plug&Play angezeigt werden. Diese habe ich kurzerhand einfach mal alle gekickt, aber nach Neustart sind alle wieder da. Natürlich werden einige jetzt sagen, dass ich hierfür keinen benötige, aber irgendwie ist es mir doch ein Dorn im Auge wenn ihr versteht was ich meine. …”

nordy aus dem pcwelt-Forum, hat nach einer Neuinstallation seines Toshiba Tecra A9, keine Daten auf DVD+R. Der Ursprung lag wie folgt: er musste Vista mit der Recovery-CD erneuern und wegen des sonstigen Datenverlustes, hat er vorher die Daten der Partition E auf zwei 8,5 GB DVD von Verbatim gesichert… Die Datenrücksicherung gestaltet sich nun allerdings problematisch, da nach dem Neuaufsetzen von Vista der Explorer bei den zwei DVDs 0 Bytes anzeigt, bei der Recovery sieht er aber alle Daten.
