funkybrother aus dem notebookforum hat folgendes Problem: er hat sich zwei neue Speichersteine für seinen Toshiba A200 1CC gekauft und eingebaut. Vista läuft nun wesentlich schneller, aber nach ca. 2 h ist “RUHE”. Das Notebook schaltet sich dann einfach aus. Die Unterseite ist dann auch ziehmlich warm. tommyR wendet sich ratsuchend an das notebookforum, er hat einen Toshiba A200-13Tbekommen und passend einen 4GB RAM. Nach dem Einbau erkennt aber das BIOS und Windows nur 3GB. Das Betriebssystem ist Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit. Im nickles-Forum fragt rufuss, wie kommt man eigentlich beim Toshiba Satellite 2410 404 in BIOS. Daraufhin antwortet ihm Alpha13 Zitat: …”Boot the system up and hold down the‘Esc’ key, then press F1 when you get the check system message. saschad möchte gern in seinem Satellite 4010CDT eine größere Platte nachrüsten. Laut Bios wird die Erweiterung bis 8GB unterstützt. Allerdings erkennt er keine kleineren Platten unter 8GB… Woran könnte es liegen? Wer ihm weiterhelfen möchte, bitte hier klicken und ihr gelangt zum notebookforum!!

Le Spice a un problème, il aimerait entrer dans le bios (setup) de son ordinateur portable de TOSHIBA, mais il a essayé toutes les touches qui permettent de le faire mais sans succès.

Il a  utilisé Suppr, F2, F10, F12, F1; mais rien.

User toshiba20070414 has a very technical question posted at computing.net about a Tecra M4 laptop. After unsuccessfully tackling a complex BIOS issue, he’s now trying to delve right into the heart of the problem - the BIOS chip itself. He’s looking for the chip on the motherboard so that he can replace it with a new one.
The only problem is that he doesn’t know which chip is responsible for the BIOS, so he posted at least half a dozen pictures of his motherboard. If you know your way around motherboards (especially Tecra M4 ones), please follow the link to join the discussion here and help him out with a few coordinates!

Darlac has recently bought a Tecra A8, but when it downgraded to Windows XP, their relationship strained as none of the utilities now work! So he has called in the trusty people at Toshiba Computer Systems Support Forums to try and figure out what went wrong.

Now that the power saver, function keys and hot keys don’t work, he has tried to reinstall them but only received error messages and tried to update BIOS but couldn’t due to a missing file! Jimi has suggested that maybe he has chosen the wrong drive unit and suggested he visit the Toshiba driver page but there was no luck there.
