Toshiba Portégé R400 looks like a winner
So should it be the Sony VAIO, the tiny little ASUS Eee 8g 7″ or the Toshiba Portege R400 asks Cao, as she looks for the ultimate laptop to fulfill all of her needs in portable mobile blogging? She’s been shopping around, and after focusing on these three models, I for one am rather interested in which she’s going to pick? Do let us know Cao!
Follow her journey, or impart your own wisdom over here, but meanwhile let’s take a look at what she believes are the main pluses and minuses of the three models –
Firstly, the Vaio which she would certainly fancy “if money was no object” – but of course, it oh so regularly is. Nonetheless this notebook includes “fancy little things like a fingerprint sensor”, although it does come fully loaded with
Next up, and “a virtual toy - made for small child-like hands” is the tiny little ASUS Eee 8g 7″ with Linux – which may not have “all the bells and whistles” – but does have a rather alluring pricetag to match and may “be just the ticket”.
And then, looking “like a winner” is the Toshiba Portégé R400 – which once again throws up the old Vista issues - but Cao “gathers [that] with the next service, Vista’s ‘problems’ will be solved”.
