Lors de l’IDF : la présentation de la première puce quadricoeur pour PC portables, le Core 2 Extreme, que Toshiba intègre déjà dans son portable pour joueurs Qosmio X300, présenté cette semaine à Leipzig au salon Game Convention ; ainsi que celle du processeur six coeurs pour serveur, le Dunnington, qui devrait être la dernière puce de la famille Penryn. Il sera disponible dès le mois prochain.

So das war es mit der Games Convention für dieses Jahr. Mit 203 000 Besuchern wurde wieder ein neuer Rekord aufgestellt und obwohl es lange danach klang, dass es die letzte GC in Leipzig  sein, schein es jetzt doch weiter zu gehen. Es gab wieder jede Menge Highlights und die von Toshiba gibt es hier noch mal als kleine Zusammenfassung für alle die die nicht vor Ort waren.

Die Mastershogushow

Die Show zur Präsentation des neuen Gamernotebooks Qosmio X300, wurde freundlicherweise von PC Games Hardware auf Video genommen und ist hier zu sehen. Das Notebooks selbst gab es bei der Show nicht zusehen, sondern es wurden nur die drei Schlagwörter Flexibilität, Geschwindigkeit und Power eindrucksvoll dargestellt.

Das Toshiba Qosmio X300

Die Show wäre ganz ohne die eigentliche Präsentation des Toshiba Qosmio X300 ziemlich sinnlos, aber da hat z513 Lich ins Dunkle gebracht:

Natürlich war auch das X300 Notebook zu sehn, stand da etwa 20 Mal rum und man konnte mit denn Teilen Zocken. Das Notebook ist Feuerrot (mit Flammen) und sehr schön verarbeitet”

Er war nicht der Einzigste der das X300 sich angeschaut hat, auch zdnet.de, computerbild.de und computerbase.de haben vom X300 berichtet. Schaut euch doch einfach mal auf den Seiten um macht euch ein Bild von dem neuen PowerNotebook.

Bisher gibt es leider aber noch keinen Testbericht, wenn jemand schon Erfahrung  mit dem X300 gemacht hat (z.B. auf der GC) dann lasst uns doch bitte ein Kommentar da. Vielen Dank.

OK – so the Games Convention in Leipzig is fully underway, and as computer fans descend upon Germany in their masses, it’s time to take a look at what delights are emerging. Expectations of mindblowing technology and gaming revelations are high, and while farplaner is enthralled about what Pro Evolution Soccer has to offer in 2009, twobrothersandasister are discovering new delights with Mad World on the Nintendo Wii.

And it’s exciting news for Toshiba too, who will be showcasing the powerful new Qosmio X300 gaming laptop (pictured), featuring the latest Intel® Core™2 Extreme QX9300 quad-core processor technology together with the new Gaming X20 optical laser mouse. For more information, the notebook is given a good going-over spec wise by both Crave and Pocket Lint who say this notebook offers a “sleek design aimed at gamers”.

Elsewhere, marketnews blog suggests that “Gamers will likely gravitate toward something like the Toshiba Qosmio X300 that can serve as the device for “fun” time as well as when it’s down to business” and invoid.org agrees, claiming the X300 is “built for gaming purists”. It’s due to be released in Europe towards the tail end of 2008, but for those who can’t wait that long – it can be seen at Toshiba booth B02, Hall 4, at the show, from 20^th to 24^th August 2008.

So if you want more news of Mii’s rocking out on Wiis, Far Cry II, and of course Toshiba’s newest gaming laptop - better head to Leipzig.

Wer kommende Woche in Leipzig auf der Games Convention unterwegs ist, sollte auch mal beim Toshiba Stand (B02 in Halle 4) vorbei schauen.
