Toshiba Satellite A200 runs Age of Conan game very smoothly

Everyone appreciates it when ones laptop can cope with the rigours of daily life and run all the programmes you can possibly open – and it seems that the reliable Toshiba Satellite A200 is working rather impressively. Does anyone remember when joby866 slipped out his high powered Toshiba Satellite A200, and proceeded to open every single programme that he has installed? If you don’t, take a look at this post.

Quite an impressive feat indeed, and if were more proof were needed, calvin f14 was so impressed with the slick way that his Toshiba A200 runs popular game ‘Age of Conan’ he has posted a brief video up on YouTube to illustrate his character “running smooth on a Toshiba laptop”.

Satellite A120 is ‘one of the best laptops on the market’

Cabose is seeking the advice of fellow members of the World of Warcraft unofficial site as to whether Toshiba Satellites are able to run WoW.

He is working to a fairly tight budget and is simply looking for a notebook that can handle the game. However the graphics chip would have to be capable of supporting it. Forum members feel that WoW would run, but are unsure of how well.

Shane has recently written a review on reviewstream.com about the Satellite Pro A120 in which he states that it is ‘one of the best laptops to come onto the market.’ Containing such draws as 1.6GHz Core Duo CPU, 512MB RAM, a great graphics card and a 15.4 inch screen that can produce brilliant quality images, Shane feels that the Satellite Pro A120 allows gamers to enjoy the full gaming experience.

With a rave review and reasonable price tag, perhaps Cabose should consider the Pro A120 for his next gaming purchase! To read the full review, follow this link to the article.

Corrupting graphics driver?

VBForum’s Tendemo is experiencing some issues with the graphics drivers installed on his Toshiba laptop.

Tendemo finds that soon after he starts to use his notebook, it requests a graphics driver, saying that the current drivers are corrupt or missing. The notebook then freezes and crashes. Tendemo’s tried to install new drivers and has even tried recovery disks but nothing seems to work. He is now asking for help, so if you think you know what the problem is and can advise him on ways to solve it, then follow this link to VBForum’s now.

Quest for a 21 million espionage-ready notebook

That’s 21 million rupees!

Fidelis Josaphat has posted an intriguing entry about his quest for a very specific notebook to his blog, Comperio-Exorior-Creo3D. He needs a high-end machine that excels not only at having a good, fast and shiny interface, but also has numerous features.

Although Fidelis’s post is not entirely serious, it is clear that he needs a high-end notebook (preferably Core Duo) with a large hard drive and a good graphics potential. His first round of choice includes two Toshiba Qosmio G30s. If you have personal experiences of the Qosmio, then feel free to follow this link to read the blog and share your ideas and thoughts with him. The guys at laptops@subcoded certainly seem to like it!
