X205 delivers ‘revolutionary visual and particle effects’

cloudiax is in an urgent rush to leave the country but, rather than starting to search for a new laptop a while ago he has, as so many of us do, left it to the last minute! So in order to minimise his search time and improve his efficency he has asked for advice from Notebook review forum members.

With requirements such as a 17″ screen, a high quality gaming and mulitmedia machine, something with at least 2GB of RAM and that he can use as a desktop replacement and carry round with him, there is one choice that stands out from the rest, the Satellite X205!

The latest enthusiast of the already popular gaming laptop is boot daily review site which claims that the X205s NVIDIA’s GeForce 8700M GT GPU enables the satellite to ‘deliver revolutionary visual and particle effects as well as vibrant lighting and shading in today’s hottest games’, definately attracting any discerning gamer. Also boasting four built-in Harman Kardon stereo speakers to deliver amazing sound, a ‘crisp, clear’ 17″ display, six USB 2.0 ports to name but a few features, it’s little wonder the X205 is getting a lot of attention!

Toshiba get Kudos for ‘bringing the latest tech at more affordable prices’

Living an organic life in a digital world is always hard, but Mac not only manages this, he also writes a blog of his experiences! One thing that is troubling Mac at the moment however is his desktop, so through his blog My Sabai he is discussing what options he may have for a replacement laptop.

Due to power problems on the island where he lives amongst other considerations, he needs something pretty sturdy to survive his lifestyle and something with a decent dual core processor, 2GB of RAM and a largish HDD and high spec GPU. His friend has just bought a Toshiba X205 with Nvidia 8700 and it ‘runs very well indeed’, making it a strong contender.

If Mac needs any more convincing that the X205 is the laptop for him , he should check out boot daily’s review of the Satellite, rating it as a top choice! ‘Marketed towards the gamer and high-end customers’ is a key phrase that should please Mac, as should the fact that it meets his requirements exactly! The eight page review covers everything you could want to know about how it runs, including bench test scores and personal experiences. The conclusion is that it ‘offers unparalleled features which mother other companies sell for a small fortune.’ Giving Kudos to Toshiba for ‘bringing the latest tech at more affordable prices’, its hard to see what’s to loose with the X205.
