“Need a new laptop for your office work, but don’t want to be stuck with one that looks like it’s out of the Dark Ages?” asks Arutha in his latest product review. And this time it’s the Toshiba U400 that’s caught his eye.
Focusing on Style, and the power this machine packs “under the bonnet”, the reviewer seems heartily impressed with the “glossy black finish look” which means this laptop will look perfect in just about any room (well maybe not a black room)”. Whatsmore, the physical size of the notebook appeals, arutha noting that “this laptop really is as small as I have been going on about”, and “with it weighing in at only 1.97 kg this should be light as a feather to carry”.
And although he suggests that gamers may find this machine a little low-spec, gaj-it.com conclude that “this is an excellent office laptop, offering both design and technology improvements on the usual standard.” Head over here for the full review!

It’s always nice to get in a jolly positive review from a blog we’re big fans of, and so this glowing take on the Toshiba Satellite A300D has seen smiles all round the talkToshiba office today.
And it’s the gaj-it.com blog today who provided the write-up, and without going into too much detail (we suggest you pop over and read here), just take a look at the overall verdict.
Design 9/10
Usability: 8/10
Features: 9/10
Value: 8/10
Particularly impressed with the sound which was “clear and crisp, even at a high level” which meant that the reviewer’s “girlfriend’s Trance music collection could be heard for the neighbours to get annoyed at”. Coupled with that, Arutha added “this laptop makes worrying about hard disc space non existent”, whilst suggesting “the screen is a rather nice affair, with it being not too small or not too large”.
Of course, it can’t all be to one’s taste – “The mouse pad is a different story, which I didn’t like at all”, but overall – a very positive review indeed! Read it all here.
